PLC Programming Languages

The IEC 61131-3 is the international standard for programming languages of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

The PLC programming languages:

  • LAD – Ladder Diagram
  • FBD – Function Block Diagram
  • ST – Structured Text
  • SFC – Sequential Function Chart
  • IL – Instruction List
