Analog Input Devices

Common analog input devices connected to PLC modules include

  • pressure sensors,
  • temperature sensors (including thermocouples and RTDs),
  • flow meters,
  • level transmitters,
  • load cells.

These devices provide continuous, variable signals, typically in the form of 4-20mA current or 0-10V voltage, to represent physical measurements like pressure, temperature, or flow rate.
